About Stat Study Hub

Stat Study Hub is a free statistics calculator site built to help students, researchers, tutors, and data learners solve statistical problems faster. Our calculators help you find p-values, critical values, confidence intervals, sample sizes, descriptive statistics, probabilities, z-scores, fractions, and more with clear step-by-step solutions.

We created Stat Study Hub because many learners do not just need formulas. They need tools that calculate the answer, show the steps, and explain what the result means in simple language. That is why our calculators are designed to give instant results while still helping you understand the method behind each calculation.

Alongside our calculators, we also publish beginner-friendly statistics guides, examples, and statistical tables. These resources support the calculators by explaining the formulas, assumptions, interpretations, and manual steps behind common statistics problems.

Who We Are

Stat Study Hub was founded by Joseph Mburu, a statistician and data analyst passionate about making statistics easier to understand and apply.

I hold a degree in Applied Statistics with Computing and a Master’s degree in Data Analytics. For more than seven years, I have tutored statistics and supported students, researchers, and professionals with data analysis projects across different fields.

Over the years, I have helped clients work through complex data analysis tasks using tools such as SPSS, R, Python, Excel, Stata, Minitab, SAS, JMP, Jamovi, AMOS, and other statistical software. I have also tutored statistics and probability through online platforms such as Course Hero, TeacherOn, and Upwork.

I created Stat Study Hub to turn that experience into free, practical tools that anyone can use online. The goal is simple: to make statistical calculations easier, faster, and clearer for learners at every level.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make statistical calculations easier and more accessible through free online calculators with step-by-step solutions.

We aim to help learners calculate answers quickly, understand the formulas used, and interpret results with confidence. Whether you are solving homework questions, checking research calculations, or learning statistics for the first time, Stat Study Hub gives you tools and explanations that make the process easier.

Our Vision

Our vision is to become one of the most trusted online destinations for free statistics calculators.

We want Stat Study Hub to be the place students, researchers, tutors, and data analysts visit when they need accurate calculators, clear steps, statistical tables, and simple guides that support real statistics work.

Our Core Values

  • Accuracy. We aim to provide calculators, formulas, and explanations that are reliable, carefully checked, and useful for real statistics problems.
  • Clarity. We explain statistical methods in simple language so users can understand the result without getting lost in unnecessary technical wording.
  • Practical Support. Every calculator and guide is designed to help users solve actual problems, not just read theory.
  • Transparency. Where possible, our calculators show the formula, substitution, steps, and interpretation so users can see how the final answer was obtained.
  • Continuous Improvement. We keep improving existing calculators and adding new tools based on the problems students, researchers, and data learners commonly need to solve.

What We Offer

Stat Study Hub focuses on free calculators first, supported by guides and statistical tables. Our goal is to help you calculate, understand, and interpret common statistics problems in one place.

1. Free Statistics Calculators

Our main focus is to provide free online calculators for common statistics and math problems. These tools help you calculate p-values, critical values, sample sizes, confidence intervals, descriptive statistics, probability values, z-scores, fractions, and more.

Each calculator is designed to be simple to use. You enter your values, click calculate, and get a result with clear steps where available. This makes the calculators useful for homework, exam preparation, research planning, and data analysis checks.

2. Step-by-Step Solutions

Many learners struggle because they can get an answer but do not understand how it was found. Stat Study Hub calculators are built to solve that problem.

Where possible, our calculators show the formula, substitute your values, simplify the expression, and explain the final answer. This helps you learn from the calculation instead of only copying the result.

3. Statistics Guides and Examples

Our guides explain the concepts behind the calculators. They cover topics such as p-values, critical values, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, descriptive statistics, probability distributions, and sample size formulas.

These articles are written in simple language and include examples to help you understand when to use a method, what the result means, and how to avoid common mistakes.

4. Statistical Tables

We also provide statistical tables to help users check values manually. These tables support common distributions such as z, t, chi-square, F, and correlation critical values.

They are useful when you want to understand how calculator results relate to traditional table lookup methods.

5. Statistical Software Guides

Some statistics problems require software such as SPSS, R, Python, Excel, Stata, SAS, or Jamovi. Our software guides explain how to perform common analyses, read output, and interpret results in a beginner-friendly way.

These guides are especially useful for students and researchers who need to move from formulas to real data analysis.

Why Stat Study Hub Exists

Statistics can feel difficult when formulas, tables, software, and interpretations are taught separately. A student may know the formula but still struggle to calculate the answer. A researcher may have a test statistic but not know how to find the p-value. Another learner may get a result but not understand what it means.

Stat Study Hub brings these pieces together. Our calculators help you get the answer, while our steps, guides, and tables help you understand the process behind it.
